I tutor Physics I - Classical Mechanics, Physics II - Electricity & Magnetism as well as College Algebra, Calculus I and Calculus II. I charge $40/hr and with most students meeting on a weekly basis for one to two hours is best. I like to cap sessions at two hours to keep the quality high. Central downtown locations work best and my rates may change up or down depending on travel time.
Here are a few programming projects I've done in the past including Python, Clojure and Objective-C. I'm somewhere around the intern/junior programmer skill level and I'm looking for projects or full time work. I'll also be putting code for this website up once I get a few of the kinks worked out (server side it's Clojure dynamically generating HTML using Hiccup, which is a fun way to build a website!)
I graduated from The Colorado School of Mines in 2006 with a degree in Economics and a minor in Engineering (electrical specialty). Since then I've held a few corporate-type jobs and even tried to become a sound engineer. These days I'm tutoring, looking at going back to school (physics, engineering, or science education,) and keeping my eyes open for programming projects where I might fit in.
